hops and apples
Hops or apples, take your pick!

Oldfields Cider is made by the award-winning team at Hobsons Brewery and the Thompson family at Oldfields in Frith Common near Tenbury Wells in Worcestershire.

Geoff grows not only the best hops for Hobsons Brewery but the best bittersweet cider apples too such as Dabinett, Harry Masters Jersey and Yarlington Mill that we use to make our cider. Oldfields is a busy working farm with cattle and sheep as well as hops and apples so Geoff has help from Josh, Diane, Andy, Owen, Izzy, Doug and Becky who help out at harvesting, pressing and even at local events.

On the Hobsons Brewery side, the cider-making team is made up of Nick, Rob and Paul, all expert brewers turned cider-makers who split their time between the brewery in Cleobury Mortimer and Oldfields Farm.

Hobsons brewers have learned the art (or is it science?) of making great cider too, taming nature and perfectly preserving its fruit.
